Ruby and Rails Cheatsheets
Cheating BAD, but Cheatsheets, GOOD
Okay, in the first class John mentioned Harvard’s very detailed policy about academic integrity. And I mentioned that my favorite gem was cheat. I thought I’d throw together a few of my favorite Ruby and Rails cheatsheets for your benefit as well. I’ll post more specific cheatsheets as we reach the specific topics that they’re about.
- My top pick: InVisible’s Rails reference: 20 pages of rails cheatsheet goodness. I still use mine all the time, as it’s often the fastest way to remember some syntax. Note that it is for Rails 1.1, not 1.2, so there may be some deprecated stuff there (not much, though).
- There’s a cute little one-page Rails cheatsheet available from the bizarrely named site ILoveJackDaniels.com.
- And here’s a two-page Ruby cheatsheet.
Two Textmate and Ruby/Rails cheatsheets here for your cheatsheet pleasure:

[…] I’ve added a resource called cheatsheets to the course site. Check it out for help remembering all the basics; I’ll be adding to it […]

Ahem. Why is ILoveJackDaniels.com weirdly named?
